［2023年5月12日］

下午3時29分，警方接報於旺角砵蘭街244號，遠東發展旺角大廈高層一個單位起火。消防派出搜救隊到場，並於起火單位內開喉灌救。期間封閉砵蘭街朗豪坊一段道路，消防及後將火勢控制，事件中無人受傷，大廈無需疏散。

At 3:29 pm, the police received a report of a fire on a high floor of a unit in the Far East Consortium Mongkok Building at 244 Portland Street, Mong Kok. The Fire Services Department dispatched a search and rescue team to the scene and used hose reels to extinguish the fire. During the operation, a section of the road near Langham Place was closed. The firefighters successfully brought the fire under control, and there were no injuries reported. The building did not need to be evacuated.
