昨晚約11時，聯合醫院急症室內一名男病人於急症室內突然情緒激動，與醫院職員發生爭執，有旁人目睹男子手持一把利剪揮舞，企圖攻擊他人，當時急症室內多名警員及醫護人員將其撳地制服，期間有候診病人被安排疏散到安全地方暫避，幸事件中無人受傷，警方初步調查相信涉案男子精神紊亂，暫將案件列作「發現懷疑精神紊亂人士」及「糾紛」處理。

Last night at around 11 pm, a male patient at the emergency department of United Christian Hospital became agitated and got into an argument with hospital staff. According to eyewitnesses, the man was seen wielding a pair of scissors and attempting to attack others. Several police officers and medical personnel in the emergency department quickly subdued the man and evacuated waiting patients to a safe area.

No one was injured during the incident. The police have launched a preliminary investigation into the matter and believe that the man may have suffered from a mental disorder. The case has been classified as "discovery of suspected mentally ill persons" and "dispute" for further handling.
