今日（6月22月）為端午節，多區舉辦龍舟競賽活動，原來不少市民到場觀賞，感受氣氛。沙田龍舟競賽2023邀請民政及青年事務局局長麥美娟、以及警務處處長蕭澤頤作頒獎嘉賓。
比賽期間發生小意外，一艘比賽當中龍舟突然翻轉，幸而無人受傷，有工作人員前往協助。龍舟賽事於下午1時圓滿結束。
On June 22nd, which is the Dragon Boat Festival, various regions held dragon boat racing events that attracted many spectators to come and experience the festive atmosphere. The Sha Tin Dragon Boat Race 2023 invited the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs Mak Mei-kueand the Director of Police Raymond Siu Chak-yee to present awards to the winners.
However, a minor accident occurred during the competition when a dragon boat unexpectedly capsized. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and staff members were quick to provide assistance. The dragon boat race concluded successfully at 1:00 pm in the afternoon.
